Common Repairs We Handle

Flashing Repair

Chimneys, vent pipes, and skylights — most leaks start where two roof surfaces meet, not in the field of the roof itself.

Cracked & Broken Tile

Individual tile replacement matched to your existing roof — no need to touch tiles that are still sound.

Valley & Underlayment Leaks

Failed valley metal or worn underlayment sections opened up and replaced without disturbing the rest of the roof.

Ridge Cap Resealing

Ridge caps take the worst sun and wind exposure on the whole roof — resealed or replaced before they open up.

Drip Edge & Gutter Line

Bent or rusted drip edge repaired so water sheds away from the fascia instead of behind it.

Post-Storm Spot Repairs

Wind- or debris-damaged sections repaired in place, with insurance-ready documentation if you need it.

Repair or Replace?

We make more on a full replacement than a repair, which is exactly why we tell you when a repair is the right call. A roof under 15 years old with a single, isolated problem almost always just needs a repair. A roof past its expected lifespan with repeated leaks in different spots is usually cheaper to replace once than to keep patching.

We'll give you both numbers when it's genuinely a close call, and let you decide.

Repair FAQ

How do I know if I need a repair instead of a full replacement?

A single, isolated problem on a roof under about 15 years old is almost always a repair. Repeated leaks in different spots, or a roof near the end of its material's expected lifespan, usually points toward replacement. We'll tell you honestly which situation you're in during the inspection.

Can you match my existing tile or shingle color?

In most cases, yes — we source matching or close-matching tile and shingle profiles for spot repairs. On older or discontinued roofs, an exact match isn't always possible, and we'll tell you that upfront before any work starts, not after.

Do roof repairs come with a warranty?

Yes — the same 10-year workmanship warranty we put behind a full replacement applies to repair work, covering our labor. Where new material is installed, the manufacturer's material warranty applies to that section.

How much does a typical roof repair cost?

It depends on scope — a single flashing repair costs far less than a valley re-line or a section of failed underlayment. We don't publish a flat repair price for that reason, but you'll get an exact, written number after a free inspection, with no obligation to proceed.
